Rakhi Kohli
Rakhi Kohli is a freelance editor with experience across leading London literary agencies, publishing houses and editorial roles. She holds a Master’s degree in Publishing and has previously worked at Curtis Brown and Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency, alongside editorial roles in academic and university publishing.
At Curtis Brown, Rakhi primarily supported Alice Lutyens’ list and later also began working with Lucy Morris. Prior to this, she interned at Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency, where she gained experience in primary agenting and foreign rights.
Her editorial work focuses on manuscript development, structure, character, pacing, voice and submission materials. Having worked on the other side of the submissions inbox, assessing manuscripts and submissions, she brings an understanding of both the editorial and industry perspectives to her work, helping writers identify what makes their work compelling and how to strengthen it for its intended readership.
Rakhi reads widely across genres and is a lifelong fan of Sidney Sheldon.
