During this 60-minute Q&A, Cathy Rentzenbrink will discuss the inspiration behind her life-affirming new memoir The Agatha Christie Cure and her approach to the craft of life-writing.
As well as being renowned for her profoundly honest and moving memoirs, Cathy is a much-loved member of the CBC tutor team, leading our six-week Writing a Memoir course. The event will offer invaluable insights into Cathy's writing process, as well as how to tackle some of the challenges of turning life experiences into a compelling narrative.

This event will be ‘webinar style’ with Cathy and Jack appearing live on-screen, attendees will not appear on the screen however they will be able to post comments in a chat box.
Cathy Rentzenbrink is the Sunday Times top ten bestselling author of The Last Act of Love, A Manual for Heartache, Dear Reader: The Comfort and Joy of Books, Everyone Is Still Alive and Write It All Down: How to put your life on the page. Cathy regularly chairs literary events, interviews authors, reviews books and runs creative writing workshops. In previous lives, Cathy worked for Waterstones for ten years, ran the literacy charity Quick Reads, and was Books Editor at The Bookseller.
Jack Hadley has been part of the Curtis Brown Creative courses team for 10 years, helping run courses and mentoring programmes for writers at every stage of their journey. He has contributed to the production of over 30 online video-based writing courses.
